El-Gato

Introduction[]

'El-Gato' is one of many warforged manufactured by the ancient dwarven artificers in hope of securing victory in the upcoming war on the menace of 'Thiii'.

History[]

El-Gato is another of the series of prototype command units rejected by the dwarven research and development team due to an extreme number of glitches contained in its runical behavior core. Thus the warforged was shelved to be cannibalized for spare parts or otherwise remain a reminder of how NOT to program construct personality. Such would be the case if not for the fact that the Thii activity has recently awakened all warforged constructed in the days long gone - and that included even the faulty series.

With his old masters long dead he ventured forth, eager to experience all that the world had to offer.

Appearance[]

El-Gato is a prototype unit which was only recently reactivated. For one reason or another the warforged decided it was a good idea to retrofit himself with bits and pieces from few destroyed forged shells he stumbled upon, thus concealing his prototype status. As the end result he simply resembles a tall, lightly armored, somewhat glistening metal humanoid with vague hints of human-like features here and there. Because of the sheer degree of purely cosmetic alterations...If there was such a thing like 'flamboyant warforged' then he'd be definitely considered one, especially by his kin. The fact that he's outfitted like a stereotypical pimp (including crimson coat, flamboyant hat, white gloves, cane and a damn parrot familiar ) only reinforces such.

Personality[]

El-Gato's mental state can be, in human terms, likened to that of severe neurosis. On the one hand he believes himself to be an inheritor of an ancient combat art known as "Gato-ken" , on the other he sometimes refers to himself as the one and the only "Lord of the Dance"... or "Old-pa-Gato" when assuming his favored disguise (that of a pimp).

No matter the persona his lack of common sense can be only restrained by momentary lapses of sanity when he happens to be playing along the modus operanti dictated by the current disguise (that and hefty dose of guidance from his familiar, who doesn't exactly happen to be as alienated from reality at large).

Aspirations[]

Gato's goal is truly simple and singular - the warforged wants to get famous.
